These Terms are an agreement between you and Candor, operated by Valdrex Philippe ("Candor", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Candor, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18, legally able to enter a contract, and permitted to use Candor where you live. You may have one account and must provide accurate information, use your own photos, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity through your account. Photo verification is required before a profile can participate in discovery.
Candor helps adults discover and communicate with other adults who state a compatible dating intention. Candor does not guarantee matches, replies, compatibility, identity beyond the limited photo comparison described in the Privacy Policy, or anyone's conduct. We do not conduct criminal, sex-offender, identity-document, employment, or other background checks. Use judgment, keep early conversations in the app, meet in public, and contact emergency services if anyone is in danger.
You retain ownership of content you submit, including photos, videos, profile answers, openers, and messages. You give Candor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, display, transmit, resize, and moderate that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and enforce the service. This licence ends when the content or account is deleted, except for copies already received by another user and limited backups that expire in the ordinary course. You promise that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law or another person's rights.
Do not impersonate anyone; use photos of another person; include minors; harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate; share intimate content without consent; solicit sex for payment; request or send money; promote scams, spam, weapons, drugs, or illegal activity; scrape or automate access; reverse engineer the service; evade a block or ban; or publish private information without permission. Do not use Candor primarily to advertise, recruit, or sell. You must respect another person's boundaries and consent at all times.
Candor may use automated screening and human review to detect unsafe content, duplicate photos, impersonation, and rule violations. You can report content and block users in the app. We may remove content, limit visibility or features, close conversations, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or notify authorities when reasonably necessary for safety, law, or these Terms. Except where doing so would create risk or violate law, we will provide a reason. You can contact valdrexphi@gmail.com to appeal a restriction; support handles appeals by email. We cannot monitor every interaction and are not responsible for user content.
The Privacy Policy explains what Candor collects and why. Some profile choices may reveal sensitive information about sex life or sexual orientation. Where required, Candor asks for separate explicit consent before processing that information. You may withdraw that consent by deleting your account; without that information Candor cannot provide intent-based matching.
Candor may change, interrupt, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the service. We will give reasonable notice of material changes when practical. App stores, cloud providers, email or SMS carriers, maps, and device platforms have their own terms and may affect availability. Candor is currently free. If paid features are introduced, price and purchase terms will be shown before payment and applicable app-store billing rules will apply.
You may pause your profile, sign out, or permanently delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes the account and associated profile data from active systems and cannot be undone. Candor may terminate an account for a serious or repeated violation, legal requirement, safety risk, or prolonged service shutdown. Sections that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute terms, survive termination.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Candor is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy or conduct of users. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Candor and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities; or conduct of another user. Candor's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Candor during the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that law does not allow us to limit.
Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to Candor's operator, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. A claim may be brought in any court that has lawful jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either side from seeking urgent relief for safety, privacy, or intellectual-property harm.
If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms; Candor may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, or sale with notice where required. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement about the service. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-app notice or renewed consent.
Questions, complaints, legal notices, and appeals may be sent to valdrexphi@gmail.com. Please include "Candor" in the subject line. Candor is operated by Valdrex Philippe.
